Designer Con UK

This weekend the 3rd and 4th of September Once again sees the amazing Designer Con UK decent on Excel in London.
And I will be vending!

This year I was given the honour of designing the event passes so everyone present will be wearing a piece of Mechtorian artwork around their neck. Which is a fun idea.

On my booth (No.68) I will have a selection of new customised toy pieces available. As well as a selection of toys and merchandise. See the image on the previous post for the exclusive mini edition “Elwood Barker”. Only 6 of these were created.

I am always happy to chat, answer questions and sign and doodle on things you bring along.

And this year I will also be up on the main stage as one of the featured artists at the convention.
My slot is 3.30-4pm on Saturday. So bring any questions you have along with you.

Masked Singer

Currently season two of The Masked Singer is running on Swedish TV channel TV4.
And there is a Mechtorian in the show!

The character and costume designer for the series Pelle Magnestam decided he wanted to use one of the heads from a Mechtorian character of mine. So Fremantle Sweden who produce the show worked out a licensing deal with me for this to be possible.

The costume itself was expertly created by the Artisariumworkshop based in Sweden.

It is really interesting and refreshing to see a Mechtorian in a different medium.

The show airs on Friday nights so if you are in the region and able to tune in do check out The Spelmannen.
