Toys Help Us (Aid for Japan)

The Awesome Shinji of Tomenosuke in Japan has organised the “Toys Help Us” project to raise money for the troubled people of Japan.

Artists from around the globe have submitted rare or special toys to be sold to raise funds.
Check out the details here :  Toys Help us (you will need an online translator as its in Japanese.)
I have put up one of a kind factory paint sample of my Stephan LePodd toy.

It was a test at a colourway which was abandoned. His eye rims are white and parts of his boiler have a nice metallic blue tone.
His eyes and cravat are emerald green.
This is the only one of its kind in the world.

Contact Shinji if you are interested in the piece. And keep an eye on his blog to see all the splendid stuff from all the great artists who have donated.

Arbuthnot Wince – The Poisoner –

Arbuthnot Wince  – The Poisoner –

It was originally supposed that Mechtorians could not be harmed by the effects of poison due to their mechanical nature. However Arbuthnot accidentally discovered the unusual side effects from application of small amounts of toxic venom distilled from the spittle of his pet, an indigenous beast he called Rupture. He discovered that his unsuspecting fellow robots could indeed be paralysed for prolonged periods of time. So like the state of death was this paralysis that he was concerned his victims would be buried or dismantled in error. He continues to research and stockpile poisons for his own entertainment. One day he may even use them…

Amnesia Primm

Poor Amnesia has no short term memory. She simple cannot afford it. Unfortunately she does not remember this fact. This sadly leads to terrible bouts of paranoia. She is convinced that someone else is living in her house with her, though she has never actually seen them. Things change position without her recalling moving them. Food is eaten when she is out of the room and her books and letters rearrange themselves on the shelves. She has taken to locking each and every door as she leaves the room in an attempt  to hinder the interloper. However keeping track of all the different keys is extremely taxing.

Perambulations

The Steam Locomotive Perambulator
One of Stephan LePodd’s adventuring machines. Over the years Stephan has commissioned various vehicles and contraptions to aid his speculative travels around the planet. From flying platforms to burrowing torpedoes. This slightly egotistical creation is mostly used around the city on high days and holidays.

When Mechtorians Attack!

I was invited by the splendid people over at Killer Targets to create a design for their ongoing series of horror character shootables.
Previously all their designs were created by the awesome Dave Cook but they are branching out this year with an artist series of targets.
